The Tow Truck is the storyteller of the steel range: a wrecker with a working boom and a hook that holds, which turns any toy car in the house into a potential customer. Steel body, sturdy plastic trim, ages three and up: the standard classics recipe.
It earns a place in two very different collections. In a construction fleet it is the recovery vehicle that keeps the operation running. In a die-cast car collection it is the machine that gives a hundred loose cars a plot: breakdowns, rescues and the long haul back to the garage.
Why the hook matters
A boom that pivots and a hook that holds cargo is the difference between towing and pretending to tow. Loads stay hooked over carpet and gravel alike, and unhooking is deliberate rather than accidental.
Partners on the route
The 4x4 Pickup is the natural breakdown customer, sized to ride the hook convincingly. On a job site, the crane and the tow truck split the lifting: one raises loads, the other drags them home.
