Tonka pickup trucks
Not every Tonka hauls dirt. The 4x4 Pickup Truck brings the steel build to the truck kids see in every driveway: high stance, chunky off-road wheels and an open cargo bed for rocks, tools and action-figure passengers.
It is the pick for kids who love trucks more than construction sites. The free-rolling axles make it the fastest machine in the range on carpet, and the open bed means it still counts as a working truck rather than a shelf model. In a bigger fleet it plays crew transport and breakdown customer for the Tow Truck.
Steel where it counts
The body panels are steel and the trim is sturdy plastic, the same split as the construction line. It takes ramp jumps and porch-step descents the way the dump truck takes a buried week in the sandbox.
One truck, two jobs
On its own it is a road truck. Next to the rest of the range it becomes the vehicle that connects home and job site, hauling the small loads the big machines do not bother with.
